Application

The Intensive Day Cream is gently applied to the face, neck, and décolleté. The Lumirous Day Serum and Eye Cream can be applied beforehand. Before first use, please pump the dispenser several times, as it is a vacuum dispenser and, for environmental reasons, does not contain a metal spring. The Intensive Day Cream should be used for at least four weeks to notice changes in the skin, as the epidermis (outer layer of skin) naturally renews itself every 28 days.

For cleansing the skin, we recommend using the Lumirous facial cleanser, as it is gentle yet effective. This protects the skin's natural barrier while ensuring that the valuable active ingredients in your day cream are not stripped away. This allows the skin to continuously regenerate and improve.

Composition & application feel

Lumurous products contain no unnecessary chemical substances such as acrylates, silicones, or mineral oils. These ingredients merely serve to prevent a cream from breaking down and to ensure a creamy texture. Through intensive laboratory development, we have succeeded in creating products that hold together and do not degrade without the use of these common substances. Furthermore, the intensive day cream has a beautiful texture and provides a new sensation upon application. Skin accustomed to substances like acrylates, silicones, or mineral oils will need a few days to adjust. Lumurous products are intentionally free of these substances because they are useless and only burden the skin. For this reason, all products in this line are also fragrance-free.

Dispensers and folding boxes

All Lumirous dispensers are recyclable. Glass dispensers were omitted due to their poor CO2 footprint and the high energy consumption involved in their production, recycling, and transport. Similarly, the skincare line does not include jars or refill dispensers, as these can lead to product contact with germs and thus contamination.

The folding boxes for Lumirous products are sustainably produced from FSC-certified cardboard.

This intensive day cream provides intense hydration, supports skin firmness, and protects against free radicals. A high-tech peptide delivers a pleasant Botox-like effect. The cream is enriched with high-quality anti-aging ingredients that stimulate the synthesis of the extracellular matrix. It also contains a combination of active ingredients that achieves an anti-wrinkle effect. Yam root and gardenia extract stimulate skin cell renewal and collagen production. Vitamin E enhances the skin's natural cell and UV protection. A combination of plant-based and scientifically formulated active ingredients provides a long-lasting UV filter, thus protecting against harmful UV radiation.

Innovative active ingredients from science

Peptides that mimic biological structures (biomimetic peptides) promote smooth skin and reduce wrinkles. The alpha-glucan oligosaccharides they contain stimulate and maintain the skin flora for a healthy and balanced skin microbiome.

A combination of active ingredients based on Beta Vulgaris provides an immediate lifting effect and long-term anti-wrinkle benefits. This leaves the skin smooth, firm, and fresh.

Appearance. An innovative peptide similar to Botox (botulinum toxin), developed with neuroscience experts, provides a pleasant and visible Botox effect.

This effect occurs because the ingredient acts on both the pre- and postsynaptic signaling pathways of muscle contraction. A saccharide derived from plant substrates strengthens the body's natural defenses and maintains balance by stimulating the production of antimicrobial peptides.

It also contains a UV filter that protects against harmful, invisible UVA radiation, thus preventing premature skin aging and sunburn. Sodium PCA is a natural moisturizing factor rich in sodium salts that supports skin suppleness and moisture retention. Squalane minimizes water loss from the skin, has an antioxidant effect, and provides a silky-soft feel. This special active ingredient combats dry skin, counteracts signs of aging, and ensures a radiant, beautiful complexion.

Yam root extract:
The yam root extract in this product is rich in tannins, which have an astringent effect. This quickly corrects signs of aging and gives the skin firmness and elasticity. Furthermore, it stimulates skin cells to constantly renew themselves, thus significantly slowing down the aging process.

Gardenia extract:
Gardenia extract helps protect the skin's own collagen and restore the balance of collagen turnover. It also prevents further collagen loss.

Pomegranate and rosemary extract:
These valuable extracts stimulate skin regeneration and prevent thinning. Consequently, these extracts rejuvenate the skin and can prevent premature aging. Their antioxidant and regenerative properties are also perfect for mature skin.

Vitamin E:
