Our story

Three sisters. One shared idea.

Lumirous was born out of a very personal need. The three of us sisters wanted to develop a skincare line that we ourselves would use every day: clean, well-thought-out, and noticeably effective. No marketing promises, no compromises. Only when the products were fully developed and convinced us did the idea of creating a brand emerge.

Plant power and science in harmony

Our experience in the family-run clinic and our affinity for homeopathic approaches have shaped us. From the beginning, it was clear: the power of nature should be central, but supported by scientific precision.

For over two years, we worked in the laboratory with different combinations of high-tech active ingredients and selected plant extracts – yam root, gardenia, silk tree, pomegranate, rosemary, red algae, and others. Each of these plants was deliberately chosen because it has a clear, demonstrable effect on the skin.

These formulations were refined until they delivered exactly what we wanted: visible results, a strengthened skin barrier, and a feeling of natural purity. Our lab was also impressed by the power of these combinations, as the botanical essences and scientific boosters work together exceptionally effectively.

A family project –
from the recipe to the design

Before Lumirous was officially launched, we gave our products to family and friends. The overwhelmingly positive feedback was the moment our private project became a brand.

The design, text, and overall character of Lumurous are entirely our own work, with only occasional support from a graphic designer. It was important to us that every decision – from the recipe to the packaging – reflects our philosophy.

Sustainability plays a central role in our approach. Our folding boxes are made from FSC-certified paper, and we consciously avoid oversized or unnecessary packaging. The dispensers we've selected are hygienic, lightweight, practical, and transparent, so the contents remain visible. We consistently avoid jars because they are more likely to come into contact with germs.

Lumirous is for people who choose high-quality skincare because they understand the difference between pure natural cosmetics and effective, scientifically based clean beauty. It's for everyone who believes in the power of plants – and in what happens when nature and science complement each other.
